A 14-year-old boy in Florida was arrested by Port St. Lucie police for allegedly attempting to hire a friend to kill his family and make it look like a robbery gone bad. A police spokesperson said the teen faces a charge of criminal attempt to solicit a capital felony. The boy allegedly drew up a contract and was going to pay his friend $1,200 to kill his father, stepmother, and stepbrother. His father found the contract in his son’s room. The friend told officers that he thought the contract was a joke. The boy has been taken to a juvenile detention center.
