Teen Arrested in Autistic Boy’s Killing

Am unidentified 16-year-old family member of a missing autistic boy was arrested in connection with the boy’s death, according to police. The search for 11-year-old Terry Smith lasted four days before investigators found partially exposed human remains in a grave in the family’s backyard. Smith’s mother, partner, and 16-year-old stepbrother were brought in for questioning, though police did not confirm if it was the brother who had been arrested. His mother reported her son missing Sunday morning, after leaving him in the care of his stepbrother the night before.
