Two brothers drowned in a school pool in New Jersey even though three lifeguards were on duty at the time. According to The Hudson Reporter, the 16-year-old and 19-year-old went under the water in the deep end at the Lincoln Community School in Bayonne and didn’t resurface. Lifeguards pulled them out but they could not be resuscitated; it’s unclear how long they were under. Mayor James Davis called the drownings an “unspeakable tragedy.
