Five Ohio teens were charged Tuesday for their involvement in a disgusting ice-bucket prank on a neighbor with autism. They are accused of dumping a mixture of urine, tobacco spit, and water on an autistic teen, who believed he was performing the viral ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The teens were charged in juvenile court in Cuyahoga County. Three were charged with two of counts assault, delinquency, and disorderly conduct in the complaint, and the other two were charged with one count. “This incident is clearly different. It crossed a moral and legal line, and even the five alleged perpetrators understand that and have expressed regret,” said Assistant County Prosecutor Duane Deskins, who heads the office’s Juvenile Division. People were so disgusted by the incident, which took place Aug. 18, that it garnered national attention. Drew Carey, Jenny McCarthy, Donnie Wahlberg , and Montel Williams all pledged money to help locate and prosecute the teens.
