Abilene, Texas, police officer Don Allen was found dead in his home in what a medical examiner has ruled as a homicide. An affidavit for a search warrant for cellphone-tower data in the area says the murder was likely premeditated. Officiers are examining phone records from a 10-mile radius around Allen’s home and say they believe multiple suspects were involved. Authorities also say this is not an instance of random police officers being targeted with violence.
