A 16-year-old girl killed in Friday’s massacre at Santa Fe High School had rejected the advances of accused gunman Dimitrios Pagourtzis shortly before the shooting, according to her mother. Sadie Rodriguez, the mother of Shana Fisher, told the Los Angeles Times her daughter “had 4 months of problems from this boy.” “He kept making advances on her and she repeatedly told him no,” Rodriguez was quoted as saying. After Pagourtzis became aggressive toward her, Fisher stood up to him in front of other students and humiliated him, Rodriguez said. “A week later he opens fire on everyone he didn't like. Shana being the first one,” she said. Authorities say Pagourtzis, a 17-year-old junior at the high school, has confessed to the rampage that left 10 people dead and more than a dozen injured. He is currently being held in isolation and faces a capital murder charge.
