A string of severe weather and tornadoes struck Texas overnight, killing at least 11 in the Dallas area. Officials in Collin County confirmed three fatalities from the storms, including two killed at a gas station that was hit by the storms. And another eight people were killed in Garland, five of which reportedly occurred at an intersection in the city northeast of Dallas. The deadly tornadoes comes just a few days after twisters killed at least 18 people in neighboring southern states to the east.
