Color authority Pantone says that the most popular shade of 2011 will be honeysuckle, an intense variety of pink. Look for the color to show up nearly everywhere, from dresses, to appliances, to furniture. Pantone makes its prediction after polling designers from industry and fashion. "There's an innate optimism in pink," says designer Jonathan Adler. So even if the economy isn't brightening, clothes should be.
