The Daily Beast has won two prestigious 2018 New York Press Club awards. Tim Teeman won the award for “Entertainment News (Internet)” for his exclusive interview with Gordon Thomson, star of glossy 1980s soap Dynasty, who came out as gay to Teeman, speaking candidly about life in—and out—of the closet for a Hollywood actor. Erin Gloria Ryan won the “Humor (Internet)” award for her series of columns—available to read here, here, and here—about “The Women of Team Trump.” The winners will be honored at the New York Press Club’s annual dinner in Manhattan on June 8.
