Mark E. Smith, frontman for iconic post-punk band The Fall, has passed away at age 60, according to the band’s manager. Smith was forced to cancel the band’s fall 2017 U.S. tour dates due to “bizarre and rare medical issues... connected to his throat, mouth/dental & respiratory system.” Months ago, Smith performed in the U.K. in a wheelchair. The Fall released their 32nd studio album just last year.
