The fashion set is ready for its closeup in the South of France.

The Cannes Film Festival begins on May 13 – and, of course, the fashion set is on its way. Over the next few days everyone from Donatella Versace to Kenneth Cole will head to the Riviera for the glamorous week of sun and film. And a trip to Cannes would be incomplete, of course, without a few blow-out evenings at Baoli, that open-air dinner-turned-dance hall along the water where Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana will hosting their annual blow-out on May 22. Also around town, Penelope Cruz will headline at the Hollywood Domino Night, and DSquared2 will launch its new eyewear collection. Cinema? What cinema?
