The Paris haute couture shows are in full swing

The Telegraph reports on day two of the 2009/10 collections in Paris, a flurry of new and old designers all eager to showcase their designs for Christmas and early spring. Christopher Kane, Roksanda Ilincic, Jonathan Saunders, Emma Cook, Richard Nicoll, Markus Lupfer and Preen are all walking, as is Giorgio Armani’s autumn/winter couture collection. Christian Lacroix presents what may be his final couture collection (being in desperate need of new donors), Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy takes time out from dressing Madonna for her ‘Sticky and Sweet’ tour to present his collection, and Karl Lagerfeld has moved the Chanel couture presentation from its normal time at midmorning to 9pm.
