It's not often you see something come through your inbox that makes you immediately intrigued, but hearing about the new material from activewear brand ADAY made me do a double take.
ADAY recently launched their new Plant Bae collection, which feature three silhouettes made from an "innovative blend of beech tree fibers" and...seaweed. Seriously. The line features the Shore Thing Turtleneck, the Can't Kelp It T-Shirt, and the Shell Yes Tank. Each style comes in seaweed green and black.
The sustainably sourced seaweed, harvested from the coast of Iceland, is crafted into a fiber called SeaCell, which is then blended with cellulose and modal to create an ultra soft, ultra durable fabric. You can cozy up with these soft layering pieces under sweaters and coats, but they function just as well on their own. They're also the perfect gift for the sea-loving friends in your life looking to get more in touch with the sea.
