Though it doesn’t look at day over 64, this Sunday marks the 65th year of the United Nations. Recent polling shows that the venerable institution is still well-liked, with 59 percent of Americans expressing a favorable opinion and only 29 percent saying they view it unfavorably. To celebrate, the peacekeeping organization is asking people to join their Facebook and Twitter pages as well as share a YouTube video created in honor of the big anniversary. In their message, the U.N. also mentioned that 63 percent of Americans say the United States should pay the U.N. its dues on time and in full. Uh oh.
