Most Americans, but especially baseball fans, love the movie The Sandlot. Most Americans, especially baseball fans, hate the Yankees. It looks like the 2015 Bronx Bomber squad were hoping some Sandlot love would rub off on their pinstripes, as they recreated the movie's famed ‘Babe Ruth’ scene on the field at spring training.
It’s a good effort, but these guys had better hope this season goes better than the last. They probably can’t look to a career on Broadway as a fallback if the whole pro baseball thing doesn’t work out.
