John Russell Houser, the man who shot and killed two people in a movie theater in Lafayette, Louisiana, in July was inspired by Charleston shooter Dylann Roof, according to police documents released Wednesday. “Thank you for the wake up call Dylann,” he wrote. Houser killed two people at a screening of the film Trainwreck and wounded nine others before shooting himself. Police also discovered wigs and disguises in his motel room after the shooting took place.
