Theranos Inc. announced Monday that it is under investigation by the Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California. It has previously been dogged by federal and state health regulators with questions about the accuracy of its proprietary blood-testing technology dubbed Edison. “The company continues to work closely with regulators and is cooperating fully with all investigations,” Theranos said in a statement.
