The Cadillac Escalade is the vehicle most likely to get stolen, according to an insurance industry association. The SUV is a favorite of A-listers in music and sports, like Tiger Woods. Second most likely to get booted is the Ford F-250 pickup, third is the two-door Infiniti G37, fourth is the Dodge Charger, and fifth is the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Least likely to be stolen include parental favorites: the Volvo S80, Saturn Vue, Nissan Murano, Honda Pilot, and Subaru Impreza. The numbers, counting thefts-per-insured vehicle, are calculated by the Highway Loss Data Institute and cover the years from 2007 to 2009. The Escalade has been the most popular among thieves in six of the last seven reports issued by the group. Even though the SUV has an anti-theft device that makes it immobile without a specific key, thieves are known to carry them away on flatbed trucks. One of every 100 is stolen.
