A plane from the Venezuelan state-run airline Conviasa crashed shortly after takeoff in Venezuela Monday. Fifty-one people were on board and officials said that 36 survived while 15 passengers were killed. The turboprop aircraft crashed over a state-run steel foundry, according to Venezuelan's Transportation Minister Francisco Garces.
