Three MS-13 members have been charged with second-degree assault after allegedly stabbing a teen behind a Long Island Burger King. Ramon Arevalo Lopez, 19, Nobeli Montes Zuniga, 20, and Oscar Canales Molina, 17, were apprehended by police shortly after the alleged attack, and they reportedly had blood on their clothing at the time of the arrest, Suffolk County District Attorney Timothy D. Sini said in a statement Thursday. Police say their 16-year-old victim recognized them from Huntington High School and said he and his friend had left the fast-food restaurant on Wednesday because the three gang members were staring at them "in a menacing way." The three suspects allegedly followed the teens out after they left, equipped with knives and bats, and attacked them in the parking lot. Lopez allegedly stabbed the victim in the back, while another 16-year-old is said to have suffered a minor injury. The stabbed teen was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities in Suffolk County say they have not yet determined a motive but have confirmed that all three suspects are MS-13 members.
