Both Tiger Woods and his wife Elin delayed speaking to police, adding to the mystery of what exactly caused the world's best golfer to crash his SUV in his own driveway late Friday night. The gossip site TMZ reported that Woods' facial injuries were caused by an altercation with his wife, who was allegedly confronting her husband about reports that he was seeing another woman. A Florida police spokeswoman said postponing a meeting was unusual. "This just delays us to getting closer to the completion of the investigation," she said.
