Apple CEO Tim Cook is hosting a fundraiser for House Speaker Paul Ryan next week after the company announced it would not contribute to the Republican National Convention thanks to Donald Trump. The billionaire Republican recently called for a boycott of Apple over its refusal to develop software to unlock the San Bernardino terrorist's iPhone. Cook has helped to fund both Democrats and Republicans in the past. Next week's event, a private breakfast to be held in Menlo Park, California, will benefit not only Ryan but all House Republicans via a joint fundraising committee.
