TMZ reports that the NFL never asked for more video of Ray Rice after the gossip site in May showed the Baltimore Raven dragging his unconcious fiancée from an elevator. On Monday, TMZ produced video from inside the elevator showing Rice knocking out Janay Palmer. Sources at the Revel hotel and casino in Atlantic City told TMZ they were never contacted by the NFL to obtain more footage of Rice and Palmer to get to the bottom of what happened. TMZ said an NFL source claimed the league asked law-enforcement authorities for “any and all information” on the case, but were denied information because the case was pending. However, NFL investigators never tried to contact the hotel or TMZ for the tapes. On Monday, the NFL claimed it had no knowledge of the new video before suspending Rice indefinitely.
