Brian Ballard, a Florida lobbyist who has donated more than $25,000 of his own money to Jeb Bush’s campaign, is abandoning ship after the former governor’s repeated attacks on Marco Rubio. “I think the world of Jeb Bush. He was a great governor of Florida and is a really good person, but the campaign has hijacked his message,’ said Ballard. He made his final decision, he said, when the Bush campaign referred to Rubio as the “GOP Obama.”
