Mike Hengel, the Las Vegas Review-Journal's top editor, announced that he was stepping down on Tuesday just two weeks after Sheldon Adelson bought the publication. Staffers were surprised when he made the announcement and one allegedly said that the Adelson family was only going to formally announce it in an editorial on Wednesday.
