Months after Toshiba's CEO resigned in an accounting scandal, the company announced that it predicts a $4.5 billion loss over the fiscal year, as well as an upcoming cut of 6,800 jobs—or roughly 30 percent of its workforce. The company will also axe indirect employees, such as contractors, as part of the massive downsizing.
