Toys “R” Us is pulling its four action figures based on characters from AMC’s hit TV series Breaking Bad following a petition campaign launched last week by a Florida mother. The dolls are based on the Emmy-winning series about Walter White, a high-school chemistry teacher (played by Bryan Cranston) who turns into a crystal-meth dealer, and his sidekick, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul). The figures have a detachable bag of “cash” and a bag of fake meth. The company said the dolls are being removed immediately from its website and shelves. The Florida woman, reportedly Susan Schrivjer of Fort Myers, launched a petition on Change.org demanding that the company stop selling the action figures, which she said are a “dangerous deviation from their family-friendly values.”
