Travis Kelce Leaves Taylor Swift Flying Solo to Grammys

The all-pro tight end is too busy prepping for a shot at the Chiefs’ third-straight NFL Super Bowl.

Taylor Swift will be going stag to the Grammys this weekend while her NFL star boyfriend, Travis Kelce, prepares for the Super Bowl, inside sources told TMZ. While the music awards ceremony is a week before the big game, which is on Feb. 9, Kelce has reportedly opted to be with his team as they eye a third-straight NFL championship in a match-up against the Philadelphia Eagles. Swift is among the nominees and the presenters at the Grammys this year. The “Fortnight” singer is up for awards in six categories—album of the year, best pop vocal album, song of the year, record of the year, and best pop duo performance, alongside Gracie Abrams. Swift has won 14 Grammys in her career. Kelce, whose team posted a league-best 15-2 regular season record, is a seven-time all-pro tight end. Kelce also missed accompanying Swift to last year’s Grammys, as his team was also competing for a Super Bowl. He shared his disappointment in that case, saying he wished he could ”watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for” but that it was impossible.
