President Trump fired off his usual brand of incendiary tweet Thursday morning, attacking Condé Nast Editorial Director and Vogue Editor Anna Wintour in the wake of recent outrage over a Vanity Fair video that mocked Hillary Clinton and suggested facetiously that she take up a hobby—like knitting—instead of running for office again. On Wednesday, Vanity Fair apologized for its “Six New Year’s Resolutions for Hillary Clinton” video, calling it an “attempt at humor” that “missed the mark.” Trump tweeted, “Vanity Fair, which looks like it is on its last legs, is bending over backwards in apologizing for the minor hit they took at Crooked H. Anna Wintour, who was all set to be Amb to Court of St James’s & a big fundraiser for CH, is beside herself in grief & begging for forgiveness!”
