President Donald Trump on Monday lashed out against Attorney General Jeff Sessions, writing on Twitter that the Democrats “must love him now” for bringing “publicized” charges on two “very popular” Republican congressmen just before the November midterms. “Two long running, Obama era, investigations of two very popular Republican Congressmen were brought to a well publicized charge, just ahead of the Mid-Terms, by the Jeff Sessions Justice Department,” he wrote. “Two easy wins now in doubt because there is not enough time. Good job Jeff......” Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) and Rep. Chris Collins (R-NY) were indicted last month. Trump recently said that Sessions’ job was safe at least until the midterms.
