President Donald Trump on Wednesday appeared to backtrack on his previous commitment to to be interviewed by special counsel Robert Mueller. “I’ll speak to attorneys,” Trump said. “We’ll see what happens.” Last year, Trump said he would “100 percent” speak with Mueller under oath. On Wednesday, Trump said Mueller’s investigation, which is looking into possible Trump-Russia collusion, is a “phony cloud” over his administration. “When they have no collusion, and nobody’s found any collusion at any level, it seems unlikely that you’d even have an interview,” Trump added.
