Guests attending a graduation ceremony at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia on Sunday were privy to an awkward moment between political rivals Donald Trump and Joe Biden as both men showed up to support family members. The Democratic vice president was there for his granddaughter, while the Republican nominee had come to watch his daughter graduate. The two men reportedly sat quite close to each other, though it’s unclear whether they acknowledged each other or engaged in any fierce staring contests across the aisle. Biden has repeatedly slammed Trump for his statements on immigration, while Trump has responded in kind with strong criticism of the Obama administration’s policies.
