President-elect Donald Trump said Saturday night that China should “keep” the naval drone that it stole from the U.S. last week in the South China Sea. “We should tell China that we don’t want the drone they stole back—let them keep it!” Trump tweeted. The Pentagon said it had “secured an understanding” from China that the drone would be returned. Earlier Saturday, Trump called it an “unprecedented act” on the part of China—a nation whom Trump has angered with his recent suggestions that he would not hold firm to the “one-China” policy when it comes to recognizing the Taiwanese government.
