During a rally in Ohio after he delivered an address on trade, presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump compared the Trans-Pacific Partnership to rape. “The Trans-Pacific Partnership is another disaster,” Trump said. “Done and pushed by special interests who want to rape our country. Just a continuing rape of our country. That’s what it is, too—it’s a harsh word—it’s a rape of our country.” Earlier this year, Trump compared Chinese trade policy to rape in a speech in Indiana.
