President Trump has lashed out at “fake news” over a Golf Magazine story that quoted him calling the White House a “real dump” earlier this week. “I love the White House, one of the most beautiful buildings (homes) I have ever seen. But Fake News said I called it a dump –TOTALLY UNTRUE,” he wrote on Twitter late Wednesday. The White House also earlier denied that Trump made the statement in the piece published by Golf Magazine and Sports Illustrated. Golf Magazine writer Alan Shipnuck has maintained that Trump made the remarks to several members of a New Jersey golf club before playing a round of golf. “Oh, he most certainly said it. We were just being gracious by allowing the White House to offer a (lame) dissent,” Shipnuck wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
