Trump: George Will Is an ‘Overrated Fool’
Doesn’t agree with advice for GOP.
Over the weekend, columnist George Will gave Republicans a piece of his mind: forget about the presidency and focus on full control of Congress. The column has received mixed reviews, but most important, do you know what Donald Trump has to say about Will and his big ideas? “I think he’s a totally overrated fool,” that’s what. Trump let loose on Will on Fox & Friends Monday, saying, “I think this guy is so overrated. I don’t think he’s really smart. He looks smart with the little glasses and his hair swept to the side. That was one of the dumbest [comments] ... I think he’s a totally overrated pundit.” It seems a little unfair for Trump to criticize someone else’s hair, but he went there. Trump, Mitt Romney’s biggest fan, was simply incensed that Will would suggest “there would come a point when ... conservatives turn their energies to a goal much more attainable than ... electing Romney or Santorum president.”
