In his first policy paper, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump unveiled a more detailed immigration plan on Sunday, calling for Mexico to bankroll a permanent wall across the U.S.-Mexico border and mandatory deportation of all "criminal aliens." In the nearly 1,900-word paper, Trump said he would push to overturn a law that grants citizenship to any child born in the U.S., regardless of whether the child's parents are undocumented immigrants. The GOP frontunner also called for implementing a system to verify workers' legal status, tripling the number of immigration officials, creating a tracking system to identify people who stay beyond their visa expiration date and pausing the issuance of any new green cards. Trump added on NBC's "Meet the Press" that he would rescind President Obama's executive orders on immigration.
