President Trump reacted to the tragic shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue on Saturday morning by calling the alleged shooter a "madman" and a "wacko" and saying that this mass shooting should incentivize the government to "stiffen up" laws related to the death penalty. "When people do this, they should get the death penalty," Trump said. "And they shouldn't have to wait years and years. Now the lawyers will get involved. And everybody's going to get involved and we'll be ten years down the line and......I think they should very much bring the death penalty into vogue."
