President-elect Donald Trump has dismissed reports that Russia interfered in the U.S. election as “ridiculous,” even as calls for a congressional investigation into the matter increase. “I think it's ridiculous. I think it's just another excuse. I don't believe it,” Trump said in an interview with Fox News Sunday. A report released Friday said the CIA had concluded that Russia meddled in the recent election to help Trump win, a fact which caused shock and dismay among both Republicans and Democrats and spurred calls for a probe. Trump, however, has claimed that the report was planted by Democrats acting as sore losers after his surprising win. “I think the Democrats are putting it out,” he said in Sunday’s interview.
