President Trump made an unscheduled appearance with Fabiana Rosales de Guaidó, the wife of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaidó, at the White House on Wednesday. During the meeting, Trump repeated his warning that “all options” for U.S. action in Venezuela remain under consideration. “We are with you 100 percent,” Trump told Fabiana, insisting that Russia “has to get out” of the South American nation. The White House recognized Guaidó as Venezuela’s legitimate head of state in January. His wife was originally scheduled to meet with Vice President Mike Pence.
At one point during the meeting, Trump pivoted to the American healthcare system—and ranted about Obamacare. “We’re not talking about healthcare right now, but I will,” Trump told reporters. “Obamacare is a disaster... The only difference between now and the other administration is that we're administering Obamacare very well... We are going to be the party—the Republicans—the party of great healthcare.”
