The 30-second spot received so much backlash that it was pulled by CNN, Fox News, and NBC.

During a contentious press conference following Tuesday’s midterm elections, ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jon Karl asked President Donald Trump whether he regrets his campaign’s caravan ad that faced widespread backlash for being “racist.” Following outcry over the ad, which aired during Sunday Night Football, various networks including Fox News revoked it. “I’m surprised you asked me that,” the president replied to Karl. “No, I don’t regret the ad.” The ad released last week features a convicted cop-killer who was deported multiple times before he shot and killed two California sheriff’s deputies.
