Trump Sports Suspicious Bulge at Make-a-Wish Medal Ceremony

What is being stowed in the presidential caboose?

President Donald Trump’s mystery bulge reared its ugly head again as he turned an awards ceremony into a chance to get one himself.

The 80-year-old president exhibited an unusual bump on his backside while onstage at the “A New Golden Age” summit in Washington D.C. on Thursday.

The apparent protrusion jutted out through the president’s suit, causing its back vents to flare out as he accepted a posthumous science award on behalf of his late uncle, John G. Trump, at his vainly renamed “Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace.”

“Mr. President, we have been able to find the medal from your uncle, and we here want to present it to you in a beautiful frame,” the president’s science adviser, Michael Kratsios, said.

Trump was gifted the same National Medal of Science that his uncle, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor, received in 1983. The late John G. Trump was actually a distinguished scientist, and unlike his nephew, served in uniform during World War II. When he was awarded the medal, he did not even tell his colleagues; they learned about it in the newspaper.

His nephew, however, showed no such modesty as he spoke about his uncle. And then he awarded a selection of medals to billionaire tech CEOs and founders Elon Musk, Michael Dell, Jensen Huang, and Sergey Brin, all of them regulars at the White House under his administration.

Musk has returned to favor in recent months after their spectacular falling-out in June of last year, when Musk quit DOGE and revealed that Trump was in the Epstein files.

The Daily Beast has reached out to the White House for clarity on the cause of Trump’s mystery back bump.

It isn’t the first time Trump has displayed the strange bulge.

A video of the president from a rally in Long Island, New York, in August made clear the seemingly rigid, box-like object attached to his lower back, hidden underneath his suit jacket.

The bulge was visible again last month in an Instagram story posted by White House aide Margo Martin, in which the president spoke to reporters outside Air Force One.

Online speculation over what the inexplicable protrusion could be has ranged from a medical contraption to a colostomy bag to even an adult diaper.

The dubious bump is just one of the potential medical issues Trump has been scrutinized for throughout his second administration.

The Daily Beast has chronicled the octogenarian president’s laundry list of ailments, including his often-bruised hands slathered in makeup, his swollen cankles, his bouts of slurred speech, and the many times he has seemingly fallen asleep during public events. We have repeatedly asked the White House for transparency about his health, to no effect.

Trump has also boasted about “acing” a dementia screening exam multiple times and has been known to veer off on wild tangents during public speaking engagements, often repeating variations of the same talking points.

The president’s sycophants have also made a habit of giving him awards, many of them covered in gold. During his second presidency, Trump has received the inaugural “FIFA Peace Prize” from his ally Gianni Infantino, in the form of a gold medal, and has been named the “Undisputed Champion of Beautiful Clean Coal” by the Washington Coal Club, and given a golden statue of a miner.
