A 26-year-old former paid organizer for Donald Trump’s campaign has accused the campaign of sex discrimination after she was fired. According to a complaint by Elizabeth Mae Davidson, men on the campaign were paid more and allowed to speak at rallies, while she was told she could not, despite her requests. Davidson alleges that when she and another female volunteer met Trump at a rally last summer, he told them, “You guys could do a lot of damage,” in reference to their physical appearances. According to Davidson’s complaint, she was fired for making “disparaging comments about senior campaign leaders to third parties,” which she has denied. Trump has a history of objectifying women, once telling a friend “You have to treat ’em like shit.”
