Trump: Nothing in Gov’t Off-Limits From Elon Musk’s Grasp

ALL BETS ARE OFF

President Donald Trump wasn’t able to name a single part of the government that is off-limits to Elon Musk and his team of baby-faced engineers. At a press conference on Friday, the president was asked, “Is there anything you’ve told Elon Musk he cannot touch?” Trump couldn’t come up with anything. “Well, we haven’t discussed that much,” the president said. “I’ll tell him to go here, go there, and he does it. He’s got a very capable group of people. Very, very capable. They know what they’re doing. They’ll ask questions, and they’ll see immediately if someone gets tongue-tied that they’re either crooked or don’t know what they’re doing.” Trump said that he is currently sicking Musk on education and the military, and will “go into other things as we go along.” Musk’s team at the Department of Government Efficiency is largely comprised of programmers between the ages of 19 and 26 who have little to no experience in government. They have sparked outrage from Democrats for gaining access to sensitive government records, including those in the federal payment system, which distributes Social Security checks.
