President Trump is set to visit the FBI National Academy on Friday amid his escalating feud with the bureau, which he’s described as being “in tatters” with its standing as the “worst in history.” The president will deliver remarks to the graduating class of the 10-week academy program. Trump’s most recent planned trip to the FBI was scrapped in May amid tensions over his firing of then-bureau chief James Comey. Since then, he’s publicly questioned the veracity of the FBI’s probe into the Trump campaign’s ties to Russia, at times calling the investigation a “witch hunt” over a “hoax” and griping that the bureau never convicted Hillary Clinton over her use of a private email server while she served as secretary of State.
