During an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper that aired Thursday night, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump ruled out a pathway to U.S. citizenship for undocumented immigrants, reversing once again on comments he made on immigration earlier in the week. “There’s no path to legalization unless they leave the country,” Trump told Cooper. “When they come back in, then they can start paying taxes, but there is no path to legalization unless they leave the country and then come back.” As to what he truly believes on the issue is anyone’s guess now.
