TSA Pat Downs Will Continue

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may want to pick up the phone: TSA Chief John Pistole said on CNN that invasive pat downs will continue at airport security checks, even as he conceded that pat downs should be as “minimally invasive as possible.” The pat downs, which requires a TSA employee to feel a person’s crotch and chest, are required if, after setting off the metal detector, the traveler refuses to walk through an advanced scanner.
