TSA to Test Scanners for Radiation

Just when you think the whole “don’t touch my junk” nightmare is over: The Transportation Security Administration said Friday it will retest body scanners for radiation, after recent maintenance records showed some devices emitted 10 times more radiation than previously thought. The TSA said these records are the result of math mistakes and insisted all the machines are safe, but said it would retest the devices out of “an abundance of caution to reassure the public,” said spokesman Nicholas Kimball.
