California goes to polls; Reid to learn his challenger.

Will Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid live to see another day? We won’t know for sure until November, but we’ll at least get a good indication on Tuesday when Nevada and 11 other states head to the polls. Marc Ambinder says Nevada is “the most important race” and that “If [Tea Partier] Sharron Angle wins [the Republican primary], Harry Reid has a chance to keep his seat.” Democrats also expect Arkansas Lt. Gov. Bill Halter to defeat Senator Blanche Lincoln; while in California former CEOs Carly Fiorina and Meg Whitman will try to earn the Republican nominations for the Senate and the governor’s seat, respectively.
