Dreamgirls director Bill Condon is in talks to direct the final two movies of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Deadline Hollywood reported Wednesday. Condon, who also directed Gods and Monsters, has reportedly come to the top of the heap in Summit’s search for a director—beating out Gus Van Sant and Sofia Coppola. Each Twilight installment has, thus far, been helmed by a different director: Catherine Hardwicke directed the original, Chris Weitz took on New Moon, and David Slade directed Eclipse, which is due out June 30. Filming for Breaking Dawn will likely begin in the fall.
